“After one visit with Rachele Khadjehturian, I received a wealth of information that helped improve symptoms I had been living with for years. I went from waking up more than three times a night to maybe twice a week, with no pelvic pain—and now I know what changes I can make if symptoms return. Rachele listens closely, never makes you feel embarrassed, and brings compassion, deep knowledge, and exceptional bedside manner. Mostly, I can sleep at night again—and that has made a huge difference in my life.”

I am writing to wholeheartedly support Rachele Khadjehturian and New Chapter Wellness.
Rachele and I have been professional colleagues for the past 6 years and share many patients. As a nurse midwife, I see many women with gynecological issues, but it is Rachele I turn to for help with the challenging cases. Without fail, Rachele provides each woman with extra time, compassion, expertise and joint decision making to come up with a plan of care. Every woman has benefited from Rachele’s excellent care.
It is without reservation I strongly recommend Rachele Khadjehturian.

Dear Westmed,
You have a rare gem in your urology department: Khadjehturian. In my many visits to doctors and other medical practitioners, I have never encountered one so invested in the overall wellbeing of the patient. Rachele takes the time to listen, truly listen, and it’s obvious that she cares on a deeper level. She is honest about whatever reality I may be facing, but she also inspires a wonderful sense of empowerment. When I leave her office, I feel like I have some control over what’s going on in my body. Armed with the information Rachele has given me (her knowledge about women’s health is unprecedented in my experience) and inspired by her “can-do” attitude, I feel hopeful about my future.
Thank you for exposing me to this one-of-a-kind practitioner.
Sincerely yours, — Long-time Westmed patient
To Whom It May Concern:
In March, 2019 I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis. It was so bad that I couldn’t walk from my bed to the bathroom. I was treated by Dr. Jack Berger with Cimzia shots once per month and 6 methotrexate tablets once a week. Dr. Berger is caring and listens carefully to all of my concerns. helped me a great deal. I felt so much better, but still was having trouble with my pelvis/bladder hurting.
I went to Dr. Blair and was diagnosed with interstitial cystitis, which I learned was a form of Rheumatoid Arthritis of the bladder.
I was referred to Rachele Khadjehturian F.N.P. when I was feeling my worst. I cannot tell you how impressed and delighted I was to have made her acquaintance. She assured me she could help me and she then proceeded to do just that. I was in pain and distraught when I met with her for the first time. She was kind, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable about remedies. She gave me literature about pelvic health (who knew there was such a thing!) and recommended that I start using coconut oil for my dryness, encouraged me to drink more water and work on eating a healthy diet. All of these suggestions made perfect sense to me and I did clean up my act. In addition to these remedies, she recommended that I have a compound shot into my bladder, which consists of gentamicin, heparin, lidocaine and sodium bicarbonate for the pain and discomfort. I now have this shot once per month and feel much better ever since I started this regime.
I would highly recommend Rachele Khadjehturian to anyone with pelvic or urinary issues. She is delightful and a true professional in every way.
Thank you.

I had a wonderful appointment- so thorough and she really explained everything to me and was so kind!

“A simple thank you is not sufficient to acknowledge the help that you gave me over the past month. I have had a very painful and frustrating two years trying to address the vaginal issues that I developed as a result of the Tamoxifen regime that I have been on for the past four years and the aggregate issues that arose from lack of adequate treatment.
My frustration arises from the lack of knowledgeable help available for women who are experiencing pelvic issues regardless of the cause. Few medical people (or general public for that matter) are aware of the existence of your specialty in order to make a referral and even fewer have the ability to treat the issues adequately themselves.
You have most certainly mitigated my pain and furthermore, have given me tools and meds to be able to handle things myself unless I get into more trouble, in which case I will contact you. Fortunately for me, they have just opened a pelvic health center at the Women’s Institute of the Boca Regional Hospital in Florida if I need something that can’t be handled by a phone call to you.
I sincerely hope that by the time that I get back in the spring, there will be a similar pelvic health center right here in Westchester. I cannot emphasize enough how necessary this is. Most women, even under the care of the most dedicated physicians, feel so alone with vaginal issues. We try to educate and help each other but that’s not really sufficient since there is such a wide range of issues at all ages.”
Attentive, respectful, thorough, thoughtful listener, Dr. Khadjehturian is a physician who is living her true calling, to not only care for the physical well being of others with the utmost proficiency, but with her spirit, to infuse in others a positive outlook for living a healthy life.

Dear Rachele,
I cannot thank you enough for helping me get through this phase in my life! As you know, it’s been very challenging for me to deal with all the symptoms of menopause, and you have been instrumental in alleviating the discomfort I have experienced! The hormone therapy is working wonders for me, and I feel better than I have in a very long time. The testosterone, progesterone, and oxytocin have made a huge difference in every aspect of my daily life!
I am truly grateful to you for introducing me to all the options that I never would have sought, were it not for the information you have shared with me! You have educated me in every option you have
offered, including supplements that have worked in conjunction with the hormone therapy.
Once again, thank you for helping me to get some normalcy back in my life! I will be forever grateful!
Sincerely,
— Lisa
Good Morning Pam,
Please see the compliment for NP Khadjehturian below:
“From the moment I met her, she was absolutely sweet. She is wonderful, she explains everything in detail, and is down to earth. I had been suffering with a medical condition for years without any relief but the moment she performed the procedure, I have not had any issues. She was absolutely phenomenal throughout the entire procedure and she made me feel comfortable. I just cannot say enough about her; she is relatable and I just want to commend her or being a wonderful person and being the one to completely take this pain away that I have been dealing with for years. She has been extremely helpful and she continues to go above and beyond for her patients. I just want her to know how grateful I really am.”
Cudos NP Khadjehturian! Thank you for everything you do.
Thank you,
— Amber
I’m writing to tell you how much we at AMIC Supportive Families appreciate the medical care we receive from Rachele Khadjehturian, NP. We are an organization that provides housing and services to people with special needs. Rachele has the gift of being able to connect with our residents on a very personal level, while providing them with compassionate and highly competent medical care.
As an advocate for our residents, Rachele also allows me time to ask questions. She explains the medical care she provides for our residents in a manner that gives me the confidence that, with her help, I’m able to make medical choices that are in their best interest. I highly value our collaborative professional relationship.
— John Whalen, RN
Prior to my recent retirement as a nurse practitioner in obstetrics and gynecology, I had the privilege of working with Rachele for several years. We practiced in a large multispecialty group which is not always conducive to personalized care. Many women had more complex health issues and Rachele was my “Go to” for a second opinion. Rachele never failed to take that “extra” time though in obtaining a careful, in depth history. She will work with you to create your best plan of care.
Rachele’s compassion, expertise and enthusiasm are why I would recommend her with complete confidence.
— Judith Hirsch, Nurse Practitioner, Obstetrics/Gynecology

We have received the following delightful feedback regarding your care: the patient. In November of 2019 I came in to see this NP, for the first time, about bladder issues, frequent urination and pelvic pain, to name a few. I’ve experienced these issues for quite a few years, and I lived with it each day until it got worse.
After one visit with Urology this NP, I received a wealth of information that was so informative and helped to improve my symptoms. This was not something I expected to happen at all and again this is something I have experienced throughout the years and have not received the information or relief I did working with her.
I’m so glad that WestMed has someone so dedicated to helping people to heal and teaching people about urological health. You have no idea what a difference the right help can make in your life in so many ways. I have gone from waking up in the middle of the night, more than 3 times a night, to maybe 2 times a week, no pelvic pain and the great thing is that if I have a few symptoms I’d know what changes I can make to improve it! I mean honestly I can go on and on about the changes she has help make in my life and I’m sure she has done the same for others.
Mostly I can sleep at night and that is huge for me. The NP has the best bedside manner I’ve seen: She listens closely, does not make you feel embarrassed to ask questions, has a lot of compassion, is extremely knowledgeable in her field and I am so grateful to her. I’ve always loved WestMed and good for West Med because she’s amazing!! Appreciate you taking the time to read my note. I hope you’ll share it with the NP as well. I’ve thanked her plenty but I’m sure this email can be the icing on the cake.
Dear Rachele,
I wanted to express my gratitude to you from helping my Mother Mrs. Traumer with her condition with excessive urinating that has been bothering her for years. Your genuine thoroughness is second to none. Thank you for being so patent and listing to my mom’s other health concerns it which your recommendations led her to the road to recovery. You have been a blessing to us. I couldn’t ask for a better health care provider in the urology field.

There is a GRACE and HOPE residing in suite 205, in your Rye, NY offices. She goes by the name of RACHELE E KHADJEHTURIAN, F.N.P. Let me explain my perspective.
After being treated for Urinary Tract Infections (UTI’s) in May 2019, June 2019, July 2019, and twice in September (2019), I found Rachele Khadjehturian. Before finding Rachele, in May, June, July, and September, I was treated with rounds of antibiotics, only for the bladder pain and dis-ease to return. I was running to Urgent Care and Westmed (when I could drive the 40 miles from South Salem, NY) to seek treatment. I am a 71 year old, otherwise, healthy woman, who began having UTI’s at the age of 17, and having them on and off in my adult life (once a year or so). I was well acquainted with the pain of a UTI’s, and felt the 2019 diagnosis was correct, but the syndrome snowballed. However, my urine cultures came back negative. Red flag. Possibly NOT a UTI…
